Ron and Chris Converse first opened the doors of Converse Carpet in 1984 in Central Point, Oregon. Chris ran the sales end of the business while Ron handled the inventory and installations. Converse originally offered a variety of carpet and vinyl flooring options out of a tiny building on East Pine Street but has since moved to the current location
